This small yet charming white-sand beach on the south coast of Lanai is situated at the east end of beautiful Manele Bay, which also contains the island’s only public harbor and the place where you can take the ferry to Maui. The seafloor is mostly sand and gravel and the beach is surrounded by rocky areas. The beach offers good snorkeling and diving, and the shallow water is good for children.

Manele Bay Beach is part of a Marine Life Sanctuary and Underwater Marine Park. The beach is also nice if you like to watch boats go by, making it a great place for a picnic.
Need to Know
Manele Bay Beach is fairly kid-friendly due to the shallow nearshore waters. Do not go in the water during times of high surf and rough water as conditions can be hazardous.
